One of the main delights of our hotel is our continental breakfast…
It is served from 7.30 am to 9.30 am in a period dining room with
a vaulted ceiling and old stonework, so typical of the Marais.
Breakfast may also be served in your room.
Tourism in the district:
A good day starts with total immersion in the Marais district,
which has kept all its 17th century charm. You will discover some
of the most beautiful historic sites in Paris, such as Hôtel de
Salé, which, nowadays, is home to the Picasso Museum.
Today, the Marais is one of the trendiest districts in the capital,
with a string of fashionable bars and boutiques. In the middle
of its architectural jewels, you will be able to enjoy a stroll
in the gardens, or below the arches of Place des Vosges, with
its perfect facades.
Not far from there, the Carnavalet Museum presents the history
of Paris. The nearby district of République is also very lively
and offers a large choice of restaurants.
Slightly further away, Ile Saint-Louis, behind Notre-Dame Cathedral,
is well worth a visit. The ice-cream parlour, Berthillon, is famous
for making the best sorbets in all Paris and can be found at the
crossroads between Rue Saint-Louis en l’Ile and Rue des Deux-Ponts.
