The Astor St Honore (ex Astor Sofitel Demeure) is an elegant, refined four-star hotel in the heart of the eighth district. The hotel is close to the Champs Elysees, opera, major sights and attractions. Its gastronomic restaurant is a two-star level in Michelin guide, supervised by famous French chef Joel Robuchon. Recent renovations to the hotel by top interior designer Frédéric Méchiche introduce a sumptuous Proustian ambiance reminiscent of the Thirties. This very Parisian look extends to the hotel's 135 guest rooms decorated in a refined Regency Revival style. All guest accommodations include large-screen Bang & Olufsen TV, direct-dial telephone, private fax and computer lines, and a personal bar and safe. Luxurious bathrooms come with marble floors and marble-topped washstands. And, not to be missed is the Astor's bar, a plush, whimsical recreation of the 1880s. Adjoining the bar is a cozy salon-library. Additionally, the hotel has one meeting room and a fitness center
