If you add in a telephone box that seems to have come directly from Trafalgar Square in London, some splendid old stained glass pieces delicately lightened, then you create a particularly warm atmosphere quite able to make you overlook the smallness of the place and some of the rooms. Some are haute-époque with a canopied bed, others are romantic style with a copper bedstead or twinned Sicilian beds of painted wrought iron with mother-of-pearl effects.
